[I DRANK] CUBAN MOJITO

A simple cocktail that evolved from easily accessible ingredients for sugar cane farmers in Cuba, the mojito started as a working class drink and rose to popularity among more high brow customers after American prohibition. This is a great drink for warm, sunny days and should be enjoyed among friends.
Recipe originally from Havana Club
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp. white cane sugar
- 1 Lime
- 2 Mint sprigs
- 1.5 oz Havana Club Añejo 3 Años
- 3 oz sparkling water
- 3 Ice cubes
Directions:
- Mix the sugar and fresh lime juice from half the lime in a collins glass with a teaspoon
- Muddle the mint sprigs in the sugar and lime mixture
- Add Havana Club 3, sparkling water and ice cubes. Stir with teaspoon.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and...salud!
